Clience Studio, Castle Douglas; the town is only 25 minutes from Dumfries, and about an hour to Carlisle. Based in the "food town" you won't go hungry here! It also boasts a very fine selection of individual shops of all varieties as well as being a very pleasant market town with plenty of amenities including also the fabulous Threave Gardens and Threave Castle.

Directions: Take the A75 from either Stranrear or from Dumfries directions; Castle Douglas is very clearly sign posted from this road, and the road will take you past  Clience Studio in the main street. We are immediately under the clocktower at 212 King Street which is the main street through the town; it is easy to find! Free parking isavailable on the main road and nearby parallel streets, also a free car park at the other end of the town.
